Nervous President?

It looks like the Republicans are getting a little bit nervous about the upcoming elections.

Bush is no longer allowed to use the phrase "stay the course" according to the Washington Post.

The Democrats are pretty happy about all of this. Some of them have been using the phrase in their political ad campaigns, and the party itself has adopted its own slogan, "new direction." They don't know what this new direction is, but they are clamoring for change.

This whole hullabaloo is pretty ridiculous. They are wasting time and money coming up with new phrases and slogans and scrambling to defend and wash away previous statements, all the while trying to jump on the new slogan bandwagon which doesn't even propose to do anything. Maybe they should redirect their energy to actually solving the problem rather than becoming entrapped in this trivial argument.
